2013 Oceania Track Championships, Adelaide, 28 Nov - 2 Dec 2012


Canterbury Centre are calling for expressions of interest from Canterbury riders wishing to compete in the 2013 Oceania Track Cycling Championships. These are being held in Adelaide from Nov 28 to Dec 2 2012 (riders will compete on their 2013 licence).

There are U19 and Elite Track Events. The trip is self-funded. There will be a rider levy to cover a Team Manager. The Canterbury Selection Panel will make the final decision on whether riders are capable of performing at this level and will select places if events reach their rider limit.

Canterbury 2nd Top Province

Canterbury Cycling can be proud of their achievement at Rabo Bank Age group Championships. They were scond with 81 points and Auckland 3rd with 78. Southland weremore successful gaining 144 points.

A big thank you must go to the Track Team: Administrators, Coaches, Parents, riders and  supporters.   

Elites and Age Group Championship Details

Dates for both Elites and Age Groups are up on Cycling Southland site.

Open Teams Pursuit (Elite/U19) is at Elite Nationals

Age Groups are 28th Feb (Tue) to 3rd Mar.

Entries close for Elites on Jan 20 before our Jan 22 Omnium.

Entries are made through Centre.
